“Guatemala contada por sus calles”

This exhibition is the result of almost two months, surveying the roads of Guatemala. This is an initiatory journey through the lively streets of the country, taken in rural and urban areas, showcasing modernity and traditions. 

Being a street photography enthusiast, I have noticed that the best way to learn about the life of the locals was to be in the streets. Sometimes, I would just sit still and watch life unfolding in front of my eye and lens. It is in my sense, the easiest way to engage with the locals and to have a deeper understanding of a place.
